This is my first thing purchased from NewsThump.
Unfortunately they use regular postage, which actually costs more than the mug itself, and I have been advised it may take over 2 weeks to be delivered.
There will be another PM in place by then.

Hi Graeme, I’m sorry you are disppointed by the time it’s taken for your mug to arrive, and the shipping costs, but in the interests of transparency, we have to mention that your mug is being delivered to Honk Kong, from the UK, via Royal Mail’s first class service for small parcels. Royal Mail themselves have a target of 6-7 working days for delivery to Hong Kong, and it is only working day 7 since your order was shipped from the UK. However, Royal Mail offer no “guarantee” of delivery within 7 working days – hence them calling it a “target”. We DO offer a tracked delivery and courier delivery option on all orders to Hong Kong, which you were free to choose, but they are even more expensive than the standard first-class delivery which you did select, and don’t really make sense for anyone buying a single mug. We appreciate it’s frustrating, but we shipped your order withing 3 working days of you placing the order, but once it’s in Royal Mail’s hands for international delivery, we no longer have control of how long it takes to reach you.

Good quality – should be microwave proof. I’ll let you know. Still, the latest version of the Cabinet could be described similarly.
